Room with a view, Corniglia

Our landlady called the little balcony outside our window a balconcino, meaning a little balcony. Little it may be, but it has a very big view! Looking to the bottom right of this picture, our building has a green facade and is facing to the right, towards the mediterranean sunset. Wow! A room with a view!

Outside the waves crash, and this is what we'll wake up to tomorrow. That is, I'll wake up in a large double bed, and mum will wake up in her single bed. I earned this privilige though, having hiked her suitcase up the damn mountain!

And we both earned ourselves a fresh seafood dinner and a good dose of local white wine! And a gelato, but that goes without saying...
