We have arrived in Sicily

Perched high up on the cliffs in Taormina, we have a room overlooking the Mediterranean sea towards Calabria. The town centre is beautiful, full of shops of clothes, pastas, pestos, wines, spices...

Sicily feels very friendly compared to Venice, where we stayed last night. Venice was beautiful to see, but was expensive and there was nowhere to relax without being charged 6 euros to sit down! It is actually prohibited to sit down anywhere in San Marco square for instance! It is also prohibited to eat or drink your own food there! It's crazy!

Nevermind, we are very happy in Taormina now. Tomorrow, we may take an excursion to Mount Etna.

We will have some photos soon!
