Trevi Fountain

Some of Mum's friends had told her of the Trevi fountain in Rome. Maybe because Melbourne is suffering from draught, any jet of water would have awed her. But mum was really blown away by this masterpiece, which takes up an entire fountain. "What was it that made the Italians turn their minds and energy to so much art," she mused. But I suspect she wasn't complaining.
